Nike Lovisa Bent (born December 1, 1981 in Tännäs , Härjedalen ) is a former Swedish ski racer . She specialized in the downhill and Super-G disciplines and was among the top ten six times in the World Cup .

biography

In December 1996, Bent took part in FIS races for the first time , and from December 1998 he played in the European Cup . At the Junior World Championship in 2000 she reached fourth place in the downhill in Mont Sainte-Anne . On February 24, 2001, she contested her first World Cup downhill run on Lenzerheide , but did not finish.

Three years passed before the next World Cup appearance: Bent took World Cup points for the first time on February 21, 2004 as the 27th of the Super-G in Åre . On December 2, 2005, she made it into the top ten for the first time in Lake Louise and on January 14, 2006, she surprisingly achieved second place in the Downhill in Bad Kleinkirchheim . This remained her best World Cup result, after which she never drove nearly as well. The 2007 World Cup in Åre was an exception when it was sixth in the downhill and eighth in the super combination . Shortly before, she had finished in the top ten for the last time in the World Cup. After she could only score once in the 2008/09 season , she lost her place in the Swedish national team. Due to a knee injury, she was unable to contest races in the winter of 2009/10, after all, she announced her retirement in August 2010.
