Nikica Valentić

Nikica Valentić (born November 24, 1950 in Gospić ) is a Croatian politician and lawyer.

He graduated from the University of Zagreb in 1974 with a law degree. He is a specialist in investment contracts, commercial law statutes, taxes and real estate transactions. From 1990 to 1995 he was CEO of INA , one of the largest Croatian mineral oil and gas groups.

From April 3, 1993 to December 7, 1995, the HDZ politician held the office of Prime Minister . During Valentić's mandate, inflation was stopped, the exchange rate stabilized and on June 30, 1994 Croatia got a new currency, the kuna .

He has been a Croatian parliamentarian since the end of his term of office .
