Nikita Uberoi (born October 21, 1993 in New Jersey ) is an American tennis player .

Career

Uberoi started playing tennis at the age of five and so far has mostly played on the ITF Women's Circuit . She played her first professional tournament in November 2007 at the $ 10,000 tournament in Aurangabad .

In 2017, she and her partner Salome Dewidse competed in doubles at the Revolution Technologies Pro Tennis Classic . But they failed in the first round to Amanda Anisimova and Anhelina Kalinina with 3: 6 and 1: 6.

In 2019 she received a wildcard for qualifying for the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships , a Premier 5 category tournament on the WTA Tour . In the first round she was clearly defeated by her compatriot Bernarda Pera in two sets with 1: 6 and 0: 6.
