Nikolai Gennadijewitsch Dubinin OFMConv ( Russian: Николай Геннадьевич Дубинин ; born May 27, 1973 in Novoshakhtinsk , RSFSR ) is a Russian Roman Catholic religious and appointed auxiliary bishop in Moscow .

Life

Nikolai Gennadijewitsch Dubinin joined the religious order of the Minorites and made his first profession on September 8, 1995 . On October 3, 1998, he passed the final vows and received on 24 June 2000, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

From 2002 to 2005 he completed further studies in liturgical science at the Pastoral Liturgical Institute Santa Giustina in Padua . Until 2005 he was also active in pastoral care in several parishes supervised by his order. From 2005 to 2018 he was custodian general of his order in Russia. In 2005 he took over the management of the Franziskaner Verlag in Moscow. Since 2006 he has been teaching homiletics at the Regina Apostolorum seminary in Saint Petersburg and is secretary of the liturgy commission of the Russian Catholic Bishops' Conference . From 2008 to 2013 he was the deputy editor-in-chief of the Catholic Encyclopedia of Russia. Since 2009 he has been chairman of the Russian Conference of Superiors and since 2015 of the Archbishop's Commission for Catechesis and Liturgy in the Archdiocese of Our Lady of Moscow.

Pope Francis appointed him titular bishop of Aquae in Byzacena and auxiliary bishop in Moscow on July 30, 2020 .
