Nikolai Michailowitsch Albow , also Nikolai Michailovich Albov also Alboff , ( Russian: Николай Михайлович Альбов ; * 3 October jul. / 15 October  1866 greg. In Paralowo , Russian Empire ; † 24 November jul. / 6 December  1897 greg. In La Plata , Argentina ) was a Russian botanist . Its official botanical author abbreviation is " Albov ".

Albow temporarily botanized in Argentina. The Russian botanist Boris Konstantinowitsch Schischkin (1886–1963) named the plant genus Albovia from the umbelliferous family (Apiaceae) in his honor. However, the genus is no longer recognized today; their representatives are now assigned to other genera such as Pimpinella and Scaligeria . The Albow rock in Antarctica is named after him.
