Nikolaus Rost
Nikolaus Rost , also Rosthius , (* around 1542 in Weimar ; † November 22, 1622 in Kosma ) was a German cantor and composer .
Rost was a student in Torgau . In 1579 he was recorded as a cantor in Linz . In 1583 he worked as court choirmaster in Heidelberg . After working as Kapellmeister in Altenburg and at the Weimar court orchestra , he became pastor in Kosma in 1606 .
