Nikolaus Wehner (born February 26, 1901 in Kulmbach , † July 19, 1942 in Totschkowo , USSR ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).

biography

Wehner attended elementary school from 1907 to 1915 and then worked as a farm worker. From May 5, 1919 to the end of 1920 he was a member of the Mobile Freikorps "Bamberg" and was also a member of the Reichswehr mine thrower company 46. In October 1922 he joined the NSDAP, for which he was a member of the East Prussian provincial parliament from 1929 to 1933 . From 1932 to 1933 he was also a member of the Landtag of Prussia and on November 12, 1933 he entered the National Socialist Reichstag for constituency 1 .

Wehner was district leader of the NSDAP in the district of Prussian Holland and from 1932 Gaukommissar for the district of Oberland in East Prussia. Before 1936 he was also Gauamtsleiter and Gauinspector of the Gauleitung East Prussia . He was used on the Eastern Front during World War II , where he died in Tochkovo in July 1942.
