Nils Longerich

Nils Longerich (born March 27, 1977 in Hagen ) is a German former basketball player .

career

In 1994 Longerich became German champions with Brandt Hagen's B-youth under coach Berthold Bisselik .

He was part of Brandt Hagen's Bundesliga squad from 1995 to 1997, made his debut in the top German competition class in an encounter with Bayer Leverkusen at the end of February 1995 and also played with the team in the European Cup. From 1997 he was part of the BG Hagen team in the 2nd basketball league . The 1.87-meter-tall builder and winger then played for TuS Iserlohn for six years , including from 2002 to 2004 in the 2nd Bundesliga, and from 2004 to 2006 in the same competition class for Phoenix Hagen . The specialist in distance throws then strengthened SV Hagen-Haspe in the regional and 2nd regional leagues. In addition to basketball, he completed an apprenticeship as an insurance salesman.

In 2014 he won the German championship title in the age group over 35 with the VFK Hagen. From 2016 he was part of the men's team of the Basketball Boele-Kabel club, having previously played in their reserve.
