career

Bisselik comes from Emmerich and worked as a teenager in judo, athletics, tennis, football and basketball. He studied between 1983 and 1987 at the German Sport University in Cologne and obtained a diploma.

From 1987 Bisselik worked as a professional coach and in the 1987/88 season trained the women's team of the Hamburg club Walddörfer SV in the 2nd Bundesliga. In 1988/89 he was coach of the women of TuS Alstertal in the 1st regional league and between 1990 and 1992 worked as coach of the second division men of SC Rist Wedel . He led the Wedel team in 1991 in the main round of the north season and in the promotion round to the basketball Bundesliga each on the second place in the table, 1991/92 he rose with Wedel, however, in the 1st regional league.

From 1992 to 1996 Bisselik held the position of assistant coach at Bundesliga club Brandt Hagen and also worked as a youth coach. In 1994 he led Hagen's B youth team to win the German championship title. In 1999, Bisselik switched to the second division club Rhöndorfer TV as head coach . In his first season, he led the Rhinelander to second place in the main round (north relay) and third place in the promotion round as well as in the DBB Cup in the semifinals. On the way there, second division team Rhöndorf had thrown three Bundesliga clubs out of the race: Hagen, Ulm and Leverkusen. In the 2000/01 season, the Rhöndorfer won the championship title in the 2nd Bundesliga North under Bisselik's leadership, but did not notice the promotion to the first division. In his last season for the time being as Rhöndorfer head coach (2004/05), Bisselik led the team to third place in the northern relay. For the 2005/06 season he gave up the coaching position and concentrated on his work as a sports director. 2006/07 Bisselik was again the head coach of Rhöndorf's men's team in the 2nd Bundesliga.

In 2008 he took over the post of head coach at the SCH Würzburg Baskets , the successor team to the former Bundesliga club DJK Würzburg . The Main Franconia had meanwhile slipped into the 1st Regionalliga Süd-Ost. Bisselik led the team to the championship title in 2009 and remained undefeated in all 24 games of the season. This made it into the 2nd Bundesliga ProB . He was released in February 2010. The club justified the step with a lack of athletic development.

In July 2010 he was hired by FC Bayern Munich as head coach of the offspring. In the 2010/11 season he was also an assistant coach on the staff of the Munich men's team, which won the championship title in the 2nd Bundesliga ProA that season . In July 2017, Bisselik switched to the position of "Sports director of youngsters up to U16 / JBBL" at FCB. He is a member of the examination committee of the youth coach training of the basketball Bundesliga.
