Nils Straatmann

Nils Straatmann (born February 3, 1989 in Geesthacht ) is a German slam poet (known here as Bleu Broode ) and author .

Life

Straatmann became known in the poetry slam, where he won the German-language U20 poetry slam championships in 2008 under the pseudonym Bleu Broode and the German-language poetry slam championships in 2013 with the poetry slam group Bottermelk Fresch (together with Julian Heun and Lars Ruppel ). Straatmann makes his poetry slam appearances in High German and Low German . He is the coach of the poetry ensemble Allen Earnstyzz and a member of the German national football team . Since 2014 he has been part of the stadium announcement team for the youth teams of RB Leipzig .

After numerous short stories and slam texts were published in various anthologies , his travel book Where the potatoes grow on trees was published in March 2015 .

Straatmann grew up in Bremen and Hamburg and now lives in Leipzig , where he studies theology .
