Nevermeer is a German feature film by the director Toke Constantin Hebbeln . The film is a fairytale story about growing up and the power of dreams.

A surreal fairy tale is told. Little Jonas loses his father in a fishing village. The poor boy is teased and chastised more than educated by the strict clergyman Ekdahl. Only through the encounter with the magician Grido does Jonas learn to laugh and dream again. The boy thinks he is discovering that this world is just a fragile delusion of something fantastic behind it that not everyone can see.
