Leonard Proxauf (born November 27, 1995 in Berlin ) is an Austrian actor .

Life

Proxauf is the son of the actress and acting agent Katja Proxauf. He made his feature film debut in 2006 with the supporting role of the childish Behrendt in Jörg Rampke's thriller Pay Your Fear (2006). He became internationally known for the lead role in Toke Constantin Hebbeln's drama Never Sea , which won the Student Academy Award . In 2008 he played Christian Buddenbrook in Heinrich Breloer's literary adaptation Buddenbrooks, while August Diehl played the character in adulthood.
