Nina Caprez (born November 15, 1986 in Küblis , Prättigau , Graubünden ) is a Swiss sport and competition climber .

Career

Nina Caprez was appointed to the Swiss national team in 2005. She caused an international stir when she went straight to the semi-finals in her first World Cup participation in Puurs (Belgium). In 2006 she was able to dominate the Swiss climbing scene and win the national championship title in both lead and speed . After concentrating more on bouldering in 2007 , she returned to all disciplines in 2008 and was able to land successes with two first places in the Swiss Climbing Cup.

On the natural rock you will find numerous sport climbing routes up to the French level of difficulty 8b +, as well as alpine routes up to level 8b +. So z. B. 2010 the eight- pitch tour Ali Baba in Aiglun in southern France or 2011 together with Cédric Lachat the third ascent of the five-pitch route Délicatessen in Corsica . In July 2011 she became the first woman to climb Beat Kammerlander's Silver Vulture Route (8b +) on the Vierte Kirchlispitze .
