Nina Kiri (* 3. September 1992 in Belgrade as Nina Kiridžija ) is a Serbian actress who also has Canadian citizenship.

life and career

Nina Kiridžija was born in 1992 during the Yugoslav wars in Belgrade, Serbia, when it was still the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. Her family moved to Vancouver , Canada , where she first worked in school theater and from 2007 also worked.

Her screen debut was a brief appearance in the television film Movie Star on the Disney Channel in 2011. In 2016, Kiri shot the short film Cleo with the Serbian-Canadian director Sanja Zivkovic. Kiri starred in three horror films: Let Her Out (2016), The Haunted House on Kirby Road (2016) and The Heretics (2017). Her performance in The Heretics won the Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival's Best Actress Award .

Kiri became best known from 2017 for her recurring role in the television series The Handmaid's Tale . Her character, Derobert the maid, has appeared since the first episode of the series.
