Ninine Garcia

Joseph "Ninine" Garcia (born 1956) is a French guitarist of gypsy jazz and film composer .

Garcia, who has both kale and gypsy roots , is the son of Mondine Garcia , with whom he has performed since the late 1970s. He carried on the tradition of his father. He regularly plays with his son "Rocky" Garcia and his nephew "Mundine" in the Trio Garcia in the legendary Parisian café Chope de Puces . In addition, he merged with the group Synthax Rap and Gypsy-Jazz.

Garcia worked with Matthieu Chedid on the music for the feature film Toutes les filles sont folles by Pascale Pouzadoux, which was nominated in 2003 for the César for best film music. He successfully appeared in a Thomas Dutronc show at the Folies Bergère . With his guitar colleagues Angelo Debarre , Tchavolo Schmitt and Moreno he appeared in the film Les Fils du Vent by Bruno Le Jean, which was also released on DVD. He has also recorded albums with Alberto Weiss , Youenn Derrien and Tchavolo Schmitt.
