Alberto Weiss

Alberto Weiss (born April 22, 1991 ) is a French musician ( guitar ) of gypsy jazz .

Weiss comes from a family of musicians from the Manouches tradition ; his father is the singer Albert Weiss. At the age of eight he taught him the first guitar chords. He played at parties and concerts with his cousins. At the age of ten he was discovered by Tony Gatlif , who offered him the role of Swing in his film . Mandino Reinhardt became his mentor through the film .

In 2010 Weiss recorded his first album à la naissance de mon son , on which he played with Albert Weiss and Martin Weiss . Since then, Weiss has also appeared with Fapy Lafertin , Biréli Lagrène , Stochelo Rosenberg , Daniel Givone , David Reinhardt , Dorado Schmitt and Marcel Loeffler . With Ninine Garcia he can be heard on the documentary album of the 2012 Angers Festival.
