Nino Pagot

Nino Pagot , born Nino Pagotto , (* 1908 in Venice , Province of Venice , Italy ; † 23. May 1972 in Milan , Province of Milan , Italy) was an Italian comic and animation artists.

life and work

During the First World War , the company moved to Milan. Pagot began drawing for various magazines in the late 1920s, having previously received technical training. In 1936 he started working for the newly founded satirical magazine Bertoldo . Between 1937 and 1941, Pagot drew stories for Topolino and Paperino magazines, published by Mondadori . Two Snow White stories were also created for Mondadori in collaboration with Federico Pedrocchi . In the early 1940s, Pagot turned to the film business and worked with his younger brother Toni . After the Second World War , the two brothers created I fratelli Dinamite, one of the first Italian full-length cartoons, which was followed by other cartoons, especially for Hanna-Barbera . In 1963, the collaboration of the Pagot brothers resulted in the black chick Calimero .
