Toni Pagot
Toni Pagot born when Antonio Pagotto , (* 16th December 1921 in Milan , Province of Milan , Italy ; † 7. July 2001 in Roncello , Province of Monza and Brianza , Italy) was an Italian comic and animation artists.
life and work
In collaboration with his older brother Nino , Pagot started his professional career in comics, animation and advertising. After the Second World War , the two brothers created I fratelli Dinamite, one of the first Italian full-length cartoons, which was followed by other cartoons, especially for Hanna-Barbera . In 1963, the collaboration of the Pagot brothers resulted in the black chick Calimero . In the 1970s, Pagot turned back to comics with works for Il Corriere dei piccoli and Il Corriere dei Ragazzi , but was also the director of the animated series Grisu, the little dragon . One of his most recent works is the book Karol Wojtyla - il papa del terzo millennio drawn by Sergio Toppi , which was published in German in 2005 by the St. Paulus media publisher under the title Karol Wojtyla - the Pope of the Third Millennium .
