The Nishava Cove (English; Bulgarian залив Нишава saliw Nischawa ) is a 1.33 km wide and 1 km long bay on the north coast of Rugged Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is east of Cape Sheffield and west of Chiprovtsi Point .
British scientists mapped it in 1968, Spanish in 1992 and Bulgarian in 2009. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2006 after the Nishava River in western Bulgaria .
