Georg Nitrowski (handwritten Georgius Nitrofsky , Polish Jerzy Nitrowski ) was a son of Stanisław Nitrowski and probably came from Waralia in Upper Hungary (today Spišské Podhradie in Slovakia). In 1630 he completed an organ by Hans Hummel in Levoča in Upper Hungary (now Slovakia ) and in 1633 in Olkusz, Poland . This is the oldest surviving organ in Poland . He first settled in Danzig around 1649 and built new organs for the cathedrals in Poznan and Gniezno in 1660 and 1667 . He then worked in Konitz, which had been damaged by a city fire, before coming back to Gdansk in 1672, where he was mentioned for the last time the following year.

Andreas Nitrowski

Andreas Nitrowski (Polish Andrzej Nitrowski ) was Georg's older son. He was mentioned in 1673 while working in Danzig with his father and in the following years with some other works. He died in 1698 while building an organ for the cathedral in Sandomir .

Daniel Nitrowski

Daniel Nitrowski was Georg's younger son. He was first mentioned in work in 1683. He built an organ for the Frauenburg Cathedral , the prospectus of which has been preserved to this day.
