Njeri Weth

Njeri Weth (* 1974 in Münster ) is a German singer . She is dedicated to Christian music by combining classical, gospel and soul . She often sings a cappella or bel canto .

Life

Njeri Weth first studied singing in Münster, then she studied opera singing with Jeanne Piland at the Robert Schumann University in Düsseldorf .

Since 2004 she has been developing new concert forms, including the "consolation concerts".

In 2007 Njeri Weth founded her own music label "Flamingo Sounds", under which she also released her CD "Comfort [komm'fo: rt]" in collaboration with Markus Wentz.

In 2014 she released the album "BITTER SWEET" with 12 new compositions on Flamingo Sounds.

Projects

The consolation concerts have been held annually in November since November 2004 . They should give comfort in the dark season.

The Himmelsfels Foundation brings people from different nations together peacefully. Njeri Weth supports the work of the foundation alongside her husband Johannes Weth.

The 7 star edition has been around since 2007. The calendars and cards that are created here appear in cooperation with Mateno and Adeo Verlag. Njeri Weth has been part of the project from the very beginning.

Private

Njeri is married to Johannes Weth, son of the theologians Rudolf and Irmgard Weth (author of the Neukirchen Children's Bible). Njeri and Johannes Weth have two children and live in Northern Hesse.
