Peter Hamburger

Peter Hamburger (* 1966 in Waldbröl ) is a German church musician .

Hamburger grew up in Reichshof / Denklingen . As a teenager he received piano and organ lessons. He participated in various choirs as well as in the trombone choir . He studied ev. Church music at the Musikhochschule in Cologne (A-exam 1992). From 1992 to 1997 he was a church musician in the Evangelical Lutheran parish in Friedrichstadt . He also taught organ as a lecturer at the University of Flensburg . In 1997 he was appointed cantor for popular music by the Evangelical Church of Kurhessen-Waldeck . In 2006 he founded the music publisher Peter Hamburger .

Peter Hamburger is married and lives in Kassel .
