Noël Hallé

Noël Hallé (born September 2, 1711 in Paris , † June 5, 1781 ibid) was a French Rococo painter and writer.

Live and act

Noël Hallé received his first painting lessons from his father Claude Guy Hallé (1652–1736) and from Jean Restout . His mother was Marie Boutet (1677-1711). After he won the main prize of the Académie royale de peinture et de sculpture , he was accepted as a member. In his youth he was a resident of the Académie de France à Rome . Since 1750 he was married to Françoise "Geneviève" Lorry (1733-1807), they had two children Jean Noël Hallé and Catherine Charlotte Hallé (1755-1841).

One of his students was Pierre-Antoine Mongin (1761–1827).
