The Noble Nunatak is an isolated Nunatak in Marie Byrd Land in West Antarctica . It rises 13 km north of the Widich Nunatak on the north side of the Shimizu Ice Current in the northern part of the Horlick Mountains .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own surveys and with the help of aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1959 to 1960. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1962 after William C. Noble, a meteorologist at Byrd Station in the Antarctic winter of 1958.
