Nobuo Kishi ( Japanese 岸 信 夫 , Kishi Nobuo ; born April 1, 1959 in Tokyo Prefecture as Nobuo Abe ( 安 倍 信 夫 , Abe Nobuo ); registered in Tabuse , Yamaguchi Prefecture ) is a Japanese politician of the Liberal Democratic Party ( Machimura faction ) and since 2012 member of the Shūgiin , the lower house of the Japanese parliament, for the 2nd constituency of Yamaguchi.

Life

Nobuo Abe, the son of Shintaro Abe , brother of Shinzō Abe and grandson of Nobusuke Kishi and Kan Abe was early from maternal Kishi family adopted . He studied at the economics faculty of the Keiō University and after graduating in 1981 he was employed by Sumitomo Shōji , where he was employed in the United States, Vietnam and Australia, among others. In 2002 he left the company.

In the 2004 Sangiin election , Kishi ran in Yamaguchi to succeed Masuo Matsuoka , to whom the Liberal Democrats lost their seat in 1998 for the first time since 1956 . Kishi was able to beat the former lieutenant governor of Yamaguchi, the Democrat Hiroko mitizumi , with 365 to 311 thousand votes and three other candidates. In 2010 he was re-elected for another six years with a clear result against actor Daijirō Harada. In the Sangiin, Kishi was a member of the Foreign and Defense Committee and the Audit Committee. From 2008 to 2009 he was Parliamentary State Secretary in the Ministry of Defense during the Fukuda and Asō cabinets , from 2013 to 2014 and again since 2016 ( second and reorganized third Abe cabinet ) "Vice Minister" in the Foreign Ministry .

For the 2012 Shūgiin election , Kishi resigned from the Sangiin; in the 2nd constituency of Yamaguchi, he ran against the Democrat Hideo Hiraoka and clearly prevailed.
