The reshuffled Yasuo Fukuda Cabinet ruled Japan from the August 2, 2008 cabinet reshuffle carried out by Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda during the Kokkai's summer recess until his resignation on September 24, 2008.

The resignation of the previous cabinet and the introduction of the new ministers had already taken place on August 1, the formal appointment by the Tennō took place one day later. The cabinet included 13 deputies from the Shūgiin , three from the Sangiin, and a minister of state who was not a member. Four ministers of state from the old cabinet were retained in their posts. Shortly before the cabinet reshuffle, the LDP leadership positions were filled on August 1, 2008. Bunmei Ibuki and Toshihiro Nikai moved from the party leadership to the cabinet. The Kōmeitō received the Ministry of Environment instead of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.

Simultaneously with the term of office of the Minister of State, the term of office of the Prime Minister's Special Advisers , Deputy Cabinet Secretaries Ryu Shionoya , Mitsuhide Iwaki and Masahiro Futahashi, and the Head of the Cabinet Legislative Bureau , Reiichi Miyazaki, began .
