Cabinet Ikeda I.
The Ikeda I cabinet ( Japanese 第 1 次 池田 内閣 , dai-ichi-ji Ikeda naikaku ) was formed on July 19, 1960 in Japan by Prime Minister Ikeda Hayato of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP). It replaced the Kishi II cabinet and remained in office until December 8, 1960, after which it was replaced by the Ikeda II cabinet .

As in the previous cabinet , Hayashi Shūzō remained head of the cabinet's legislative office , while Sasaki Morio and Ogawa Heiji , deputy chief of the Prime Minister’s Office, Satō Asao (?, Premier 朝 生 ) , became parliamentary deputy heads of the cabinet secretariat on July 22, 1960 .
