Nocturnal Graves were an Australian black , death and thrash metal band from Bendigo that was founded in 2004 and split up in 2010.

history

The band was formed in January 2004 by singer and guitarist J. Nuclear Exterminator, bassist Regan Destruktor and drummer Sadistic Reaper. She recorded her first demo in May, followed by the second in July. In August she made her first appearance. At the beginning of 2005 further appearances followed in Melbourne , Bendigo and Brisbane . Sadistic Reaper left the band during this period. In June the EP Necromancer was recorded, with Nuclear Exterminator playing the drums, singing and also playing the guitar tracks, while Regan Destruktor continued to play only the bass. The rest of the year the band spent writing new songs and they landed a deal with Nuclear War Now! Productions . In 2006 there were further changes in the line-up. In the same year the band worked on more songs for the debut album. In October the EP Necromancer was released on Deathstrike Records . In early 2007 the band recorded their debut album, Satan's Cross , which was released on Nuclear War Now! Productions appeared. The recordings were followed by a tour of Australia with Denial of God . In the same year guitarist Hexx split from the band. In early 2009, new songs were recorded for the split release The Gravespirit Sessions , which also featured Hell Spirit. The sound carrier was released in 2010 on Nuclear War Now! Productions released. In 2010 the second album The Apex Predator should also be released, but the band broke up in September of the same year.

style

The band plays a mixture of Thrash, Death and Black Metal, although the music is more thrash-oriented than Destruktor and Denouncement Pyre . Her style is reminiscent of the early works of Slayer , Sepultura , Sarcófago with black metal influences similar to the works of Blasphemy and VON .
