Nuclear War Now! Productions is a DIY - record label and recorded music sales , headquartered in Redwood City , Oakland , USA . The owner is Yosuke Konishi.
history
In 2001 Konishi recorded a concert by the Canadian black metal band Blasphemy with a MiniDisc recorder . He got the band's permission to release the recording on record and founded Nuclear War Now! Productions. Since then he has been running the label alongside his main job as a biotechnologist . The focus of the label is on releases of lesser known bands from the genres Black Metal and Death Metal as well as the re-releases of out of print records and albums by defunct artists. The selection is made according to the personal musical preferences of the owner, commercially it focuses on the European market. In 2009 and 2010 the three-day Nuclear War Now! Festival takes place. Furthermore, Nuclear War Now! Productions Records from small labels such as Kyrck Productions ( Greece ) as well as various fanzines such as the non-limited, final edition of Slayer , for which Nuclear War Now! Productions is responsible. In 2012, the three-day Nuclear War Now! Festival will take place again, and several exclusive picture discs were released on the occasion .
