Noor pensionär (in German "The young pensioner") is an Estonian film from 1972.
Films
The funny and punchy comedy with the most famous Estonian actors became one of the most popular films in Estonian television entertainment. It contains numerous allusions to Soviet Estonia. The film was shot in black and white.
The film was produced by the state Soviet film company Eesti Telefilm . The director was Sulev Nõmmik , who wrote the script together with the well-known Estonian writer Enn Vetemaa .
In 2004 the film was also released on DVD in a restored version.

A ballet dancer retires early. He has to find a new place in life and is therefore looking for another occupation. After trying out different professions, he hires out as a private violin teacher.
