Werner Widder

Werner Widder (born July 10, 1944 in Braunsberg , East Prussia ) is a retired German major general. D. and was u. a. from October 1, 1997 to March 31, 1998 commander of the 5th Panzer Division in Diez and from April 1, 1998 to March 31, 2001 commander of the 13th Panzer Grenadier Division in Leipzig.

He was last employed from March 31, 2001 to September 22, 2003 as head of the Army Office in Cologne.

Widder has been married to Sigrid Vordemberge since 1967. The two children Katja and Stefan come from this marriage.
