Norbert Brock

Norbert Brock (born May 26, 1912 ; † June 25, 2008 ) was a German pharmacologist and cancer researcher. Brock worked for the Bielefeld ASTA works for which he cyclophosphamide - cytostatics developed.

In 1987 he received the German Cancer Prize . In 1995 he received the Schmiedeberg plaque from the German Society for Experimental and Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology as well as the Kettering Prize of the General Motors Cancer Research Foundation, endowed with 100,000 US dollars, for his services in cancer therapy research.

Brock had been a member of the Catholic student union KDStV Hercynia Freiburg im Breisgau since 1930 .
