Norbert Fischer (philosopher)

Norbert Fischer (* 1947 in Nieder-Weisel ) is a German philosopher .

Live and act

He studied philosophy , theology and German in Freiburg im Breisgau and Mainz , where he obtained his doctorate (1978) and habilitation (1985) in philosophy. He was professor of philosophy in Mainz (1986–1989), Trier (1989–1991) and Paderborn (1991–1995). From 1995 to 2013 he held the chair for basic philosophical questions in theology at the Catholic University of Eichstätt .
