Norbert Friedrich

Norbert Friedrich (born October 26, 1962 in Hagen ) is a German historian .

Friedrich was awarded a doctorate in church history at the Ruhr University in Bochum. phil. PhD. From 1991 to 1994 and from 1998 to 2002 he was a research assistant and research assistant at the Protestant Theological Faculty of the Ruhr University Bochum. He is a board member of the Fliedner Cultural Foundation Kaiserswerth . There he built the first museum on the history of nursing .

His main research interests are contemporary church history, diakonia history, church history of the 19th and 20th centuries, and the history of social Protestantism.
