Norbert Haselsteiner

Norbert Haselsteiner (born December 10, 1957 in Waidhofen an der Ybbs ) is a Lower Austrian civil servant and district captain in the Melk district .

education and profession

After attending the Stiftsgymnasium in Seitenstetten, Haselsteiner completed a law degree at the University of Vienna , which he obtained with the academic degree Dr. iur. completed. As a result, he joined the Lower Austrian Provincial Service in 1984 as a lawyer in the Gänserndorf district administration .

In 1992 he was appointed district captain's deputy in the Zwettl district , in which position he moved in 1998 to what was then the Vienna-Umgebung district . In 2000 he became district captain in the Korneuburg district . On November 9, 2011, he moved to Melk as district captain . He followed Elfriede Mayrhofer , who moved to the Krems district .

He is married and has two daughters and two sons.
