Norbert Pewestorff

Norbert Pewestorff (born July 14, 1952 in Rheinsberg ) is a German economist and state politician ( Die Linke ). He was a member of the Berlin House of Representatives from 1990 to 1999 and again from 2001 to 2006.

Life

Norbert Pewestorff studied "Currencies, Banks, Stock Exchanges" at the Humboldt University in East Berlin with a diploma. He then worked in the GDR's foreign trade and in a metal works there.

politics

Pewestorff joined the SED in 1973 . After German reunification , he won a direct seat in the Berlin House of Representatives for the PDS in 1990, 1995 and for the constituency Treptow-Köpenick 6 in 2001. In 1991 he admitted that he was an unofficial employee of the GDR State Security .
