Norbert Skalden
Norbert Skalden (born June 8, 1936 in Berlin ; † April 1981 ) was a German actor .
Life
The son of the documentary film director Kurt Skalden (1895–1975) and the actress Maria Paudler received his artistic training in the second half of the 1950s with Eduard Marks in Hamburg . He then started acting and made his film debut. In 1959 he played at the Aachen City Theater and took part in a small role as a driving instructor in the Heinz Erhardt comedy Naturally the Motorists .
Theater engagements followed in Hamburg, Berlin and Zurich ; at the same time, Skalden has been in front of the camera regularly since 1963. With medium-sized roles, Skalden took part in an abundance of television films, including (around 1970) a number of ambitious productions with contemporary historical content ( Friedrich III. '... died as Kaiser', Maximilian of Mexico, The Irish Struggle for Freedom, Naval Mutiny 1917 , Grace for Timothy Evans, Jacques Offenbach - A Life Picture and The Miracle of Lengede ) with. He often embodied clearly structured and decisive characters such as the Irish freedom hero Michael Collins or young officers and nobles. He has also made guest appearances on a number of series such as The Despicable One , Cliff Dexter, and Police Radio Gets . In Ulrich and Ulrike he had a continuous role with Charles in 1966.
Norbert Skalden also worked frequently for radio and was active in the dubbing business. He had a son from a divorced relationship.
