The Nordenham is a ship of the Weser ferry Bremerhaven – Nordenham .
The ship was built in 1957 by AG Weser-Seebeckwerft in Bremerhaven and has since been used as a passenger and car ferry on the Weser between Blexen and Bremerhaven . It was completely overhauled in 1999 at MWB Motorenwerke Bremerhaven AG.
The ferry has four decks: sundeck, upper deck, main deck and lower deck under the parking spaces for vehicles.

The ferry is approved for zone 2 of the inland vessel inspection regulations. This means that the ferry can travel from the port in Brake to the line connecting the church towers of Langwarden ( Lage ) and Cappel ( Lage ).
