In the rendezvous races in Johannisbad in the Czechoslovak part of the Giant Mountains , which were subsequently declared to be the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1925 , Italy took part with a delegation of at least 4 athletes.

Despite the low team strength, the Italian skiers achieved considerable success, including four placements in the top 10 and a further three placements in the top 30.

The most successful participant of the Italian team was Enrico Colli with a 7th and an 8th place in the two cross-country skiing competitions. Giuseppe Ghedina achieved the best individual placement with 6th place in cross-country skiing over 18 km.
