Nordisk Panorama - Nordic Short & Doc Film Festival

Nordisk Panorama - Nordic Short & Doc Film Festival (or just Nordisk Panorama ) is an annual film festival for short and documentary films from the Nordic countries , held in Malmö , Sweden .

The festival is organized by Nordisk Panorama, together with Malmö Municipality and Film i Skåne , a regional film center.

In the years 1990-2013 the festival, under the name Nordisk Panorama - 5 Cities Film Festival , took place alternately in one of the five Nordic countries.

From 2013 the festival has a permanent location and takes place every year in Malmö.

Nordisk Panorama Awards

Jury awards

Film prizes are awarded in three categories, each with its own jury:

  • Best Nordic Documentary
- Endowment: € 11,000, sponsored by the public television companies of the Nordic countries.
  • Best Nordic Short Film
- Endowment: € 7,000, sponsored by the Nordic director companies.
- The film qualifies for a possible nomination in the short film category of the Academy Awards .
  • Best New Nordic Voice
- Endowment: € 3,500, sponsored by Film i Skåne

Audience awards

Audience awards are given in two categories:

  • Nordisk Panorama Audience Award
- Endowment: € 2,500, sponsored by the municipality of Malmö
  • Children's Choice Award
