Nordre Aker

Nordre Aker (dt. Nordaker ) is a northern district of the Norwegian capital Oslo . It has 52,327 inhabitants (2020) and an area of ​​13.6 km². The district extends along the Trondheimsveien in the east to the Sognvannsbekken in the west. Within Nordre Aker there are the districts Berg , Brekke , Blind , Disen , Gaustad , Gaustadbekkdalen , Grefsen , Kjelsås , Korsvoll , Kringsjå , Lofthus ,Nordberg , Nydalen , Sogn , Storo , Tåsen and Ullevål garden city .

Until 1948 Nordre Aker belonged to the independent municipality Aker , which was then incorporated into Oslo.
