Norihiro Yamagishi ( Japanese 山 岸 範 宏 Yamagishi Norihiro ; born May 17, 1978 in Saitama Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Yamagishi learned to play soccer on the school team at Kumagaya High School and the university team at Chukyo University . He signed his first contract with the Urawa Reds in 2001 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . With the club he was Japanese champion in 2006 . He contributed to winning the AFC Champions League in 2007 . For the club, he completed 137 first division games. In 2014 he moved to the second division Montedio Yamagata . At the end of the 2014 season, the club rose to the J1 League. At the end of the 2015 season, the club was relegated back to the J2 League . For the club, he completed 99 league games. In 2017 he moved to third division club Giravanz Kitakyushu . For the club he completed 22 league games. At the end of 2018 he ended his career as a football player.
