Norma Connolly (born August 20, 1927 in Boston , Massachusetts , † November 18, 1998 in Los Angeles , California ) was an American actress .

biography

Norma Connolly was the daughter of Beulah and Archie Connelly, their father was in the timber trade. She studied acting at the Leland Poweres School of Drama. 1952 Norma Connolly appeared for the first time in a television production. In 1956 she starred alongside Henry Fonda and Vera Miles in The Wrong Man . In addition, the artist also played theater and appeared on Broadway . From 1979 until a year before her death, she played Ruby Anderson in the US soap General Hospital . For this role she received an Emmy nomination in 1985 .

The actress was married to writer Howard Rodman from 1954 until his death in 1985 . The couple had three children and two grandchildren.
