The island Norman Iceland is part of the British Virgin Islands . The island, named after a pirate , is uninhabited and privately owned. With a length of 4.3 kilometers, its area is 2.52 square kilometers. In Norman Hill the island reaches a height of 132 meters.

The island is a popular destination for sailors. The main bay is The Bight on the northwest side of the island. It is well protected even in strong winds and can be started well under sail.

The island was the setting in the novel Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson .
