Norman Zahm

Norman Zahm (born August 27, 1981 in Dresden ) is a former German canoeist .

He achieved sixth place in a four-person kayak over 500 m at the 2007 World Championships in Duisburg . In 2008 he missed participation in the two-man kayak over 1000 m with Marcus Groß in the jump-off against Andreas Ihle and Martin Hollstein in the Olympic Games in Beijing. At the 2009 European Championships in Brandenburg an der Havel, he won the bronze medal with Sebastian Lindner in a two-man kayak over 1000 m . At the 2009 World Championships in Dartmouth (Canada), the duo was eliminated in the semifinals. In 2012 he tested positive for Clenbuterol and was banned for two years.
