North Fair Oaks is an American city in California in San Mateo County . It has about 16,000 inhabitants (as of 2004) on an area of 3.0 km². The towns of Redwood City , Atherton and Menlo Park are in the immediate vicinity . Due to the numerous Mexican-styled residential buildings, the area around the city is also known as Little Michoacan after a Mexican province .
