The North East Asia Trade Tower (NEATT) is a 305 meter high skyscraper in the South Korean city of Incheon . The building, designed by the architects Kohn Pedersen Fox , is the tallest in Incheon and South Korea at 305 meters. After the construction project was presented to the public in 2005, work began in 2006. In early 2010 the building reached its final height. Work on the facade was completed in summer 2010 and the building was partially released for use. It was fully completed in October 2010. There is a viewing platform on the top floor at a height of 276 meters. The tower has 68 floors of mixed use (offices, apartments and a hotel).
Externally, the structure of the North East Asia Trade Tower is slightly similar to that of the One World Trade Center , which was built in New York at Ground Zero . However, in contrast to the North East Asia Trade Tower, the One WTC has a peak on the roof and is significantly higher at 541 meters.
The construction of the building was commissioned by the company Gale International . According to the original planning, the North East Asia Trade Tower should have to give up the rank of the tallest building in South Korea in 2013 to the 338 meter high Parc 1 Tower A in Seoul , but this did not happen due to a construction stop. It wasn't until 2017 that the title had to be given to the much taller Lotte World Tower in Seoul.
