Northwest Stanwood is a census-designated place (CDP) in Snohomish County in the US state of Washington . As of the 2010 United States Census , Northwest Stanwood had 149 residents. The CDP was known as North Stanwood prior to the 2010 Census, and its area is now part of the city of Stanwood .

Demographics
As of the 2000 census , Northwest Stanwood had 468 residents, 172 households, and 125 families. The population density was 80.3 per km ². There were 179 housing units at an average density of 30.7 per km².
The population consisted of 95.73% whites , 0.64% Indians , 1.28% Asian , 0.21% Pacific islanders , and 2.14% two or more "races" . Hispanics or Latinos of "any race" made up 2.56% of the population.
Of the 172 households, 36.6% had children under the age of 18, 64% were run by married couples living together and 6.4% by single mothers; 27.3% were non-families. 23.3% of the households were singles and 9.9% were single persons over 65 years of age. The average household size was 2.72 and the average family size was 3.24.
The median age in the city was 40 years. 28.8% of the population were under 18, 5.3% between 18 and 24, 24.7% between 25 and 44, 25.2% between 45 and 64 and 13.2 65 years or older. There were 101.7 men for every 100 women, and 103 men for every 100 women over the age of 18.
All information on median income relates to the median. The median household income was US $ 58,194 and that of families was US $ 65,139. Men had a median income of US $ 40,179 compared to US $ 35,469 for women. The per capita income was US $ 24,128. None of the families and 1.6% of the total population lived below the poverty line ; this did not affect any of the under 18 year olds and none of the over 65 year olds.
