The Northwestern Mutual Lifetime Houston Open 2019 took place August 7-11, 2019 in Houston , Texas , United States . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2019/20 and belonged to the PSA Challenger Tour 30 category .

Campbell Grayson won the tournament after beating Alan Clyne in the final , whom he defeated 11: 5, 11: 9, 9:11 and 11: 7. Grayson secured the 14th title of his career on the PSA World Tour and also the biggest to date.

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 24 players. The eight best players were seeded and given a bye in the first round. Per Wildcard received Nick Sutcliffe and Hasnaat Farooqi each a spot in the main draw.
