The Norvegia Bay ( Norwegian Norvegiabukta ) is a bay on the Lazarew coast of the West Antarctic Peter I Island . It is located north of Cape Ingrid .

The bay was discovered and named in February 1929. It is named after the ship Norvegia , on whose second Antarctic voyage (1928–1929) financed by the Norwegian whaling entrepreneur Lars Christensen , the crew mapped Peter I Island and carried out depth sounding and dredge work off the coast .
